Seduction of the Indifferent

Lois Lane #129 DC Comics

Batman Classic

This great cover is by George Wilson. Dell (and later Gold Key, who took over publishing Dell's comic book line) didn't always give us the best interior art, but their painted covers were consistently breathtaking. I know the T-Rex looks formidable, but my money is always on Tarzan.

Tarzan of the Apes comic book.

Tarzan goes all Rambo on the Germans. This is a Russ Mannning adaptation of Tarzan the Untamed, the 7th Tarzan novel. Tarzan thinks poor Jane has been killed by the Germans during the outbreak of the First World War, so you really can't blame him for being annoyed.

TARZAN, Dell Comics #128, Jan - Feb, 1962 Comic Book

Tarzan, is a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in the 1912 novel "Tarzan of the Apes". From 1965 to 1969, Russ Manning drew Gold Key Comic's "Tarzan" series and adapted ten of the first eleven Tarzan novels written by Burroughs.
