Tutorial | Embelled Ruffled Tee » It requires two shirts, one that is cut up to make the ruffles and a second that they are sewn to. It looks cute by itself and would also look great as a layering piece. Pop it on under a blazer for a great "business casual" look, or under a hooded sweatshirt for a young, whimsical outfit.
DIY halter - Winner! Why didn't I do this sooner? The tutorial calls for a medium shirt, but I found a small was a better fit. Also, don't make this out of a white shirt unless your making a beach top (SUPER SEE THROUGH). Otherwise, great refashion / upcycle project that took less than 10 minutes! :) WARNING: Be careful with your cuts! My shirt is a little off-center but I can fix it easy.
i am so going to do this. i have quite a few shirts that no longer fit me and this would be a great way to re-purpose them. no-sew cardigan tutorial - SO EASY...I like anything that doesn't require me to sew!
