Create your own labels for gifts that you sew or craft. Use ALL cotton twill tape, wider is better, and permanent ink, let dry and heat set with an iron. Cover with some scrap fabric or paper first to prevent transferring ink to your iron plate.

diy sewing labels- good to know and as custom as you want...a tip they don't mention- for tagless labels, use the tip for transfer sheets, but instead of ironing onto a ribbon, iron on directly to your project.
