(frozen) Dry Falls you can walk behind the falls (when not icy) :) really neat place to go to; one of my "power places" [Dry Falls, Hwy 64 between Franklin and Highlands, NC] <> I say I'll have to remember this when summer comes around

Dry Falls near Cashiers, NC- my photograph

Dry Falls - a beautiful, walk-behind waterfall also on Highway 28 between Franklin and Highlands, NC. Dry Falls can be viewed from a viewing platform off the parking area or follow the walk down to the path behind the falls. But, don't let the name fool you - you will get wet from the mist! This photo was taken by our friend Mary Anne Baker at Mountain Photo Gallery.

A little farther out from the 'hood, but a piece of my heart belongs to Highlands, NC! (sigh)

This frozen waterfall near Turnagain Arm, Alaska looks like something straight out of Narnia. It may not be very large in size, but it's certainly one of the most magical places.

I love the fall!!! It's my favorite time of year for sure :) And horses are obviously my favorite animal....Beautiful Pic!!!
