Geronimo - Leader of the Bedonkohe Apache who fought against Mexico and the United States for their expansion into Apache tribal lands for several decades during the Apache Wars. "Geronimo" was the name given to him during a battle with Mexican soldiers. Geronimo's Chiricahua name is often rendered as Goyathlay or Goyahkla in English.
For those of you who don’t know, The Order of the Skull and Bones is a secret society at Yale University. Description from thehistoryblog.com. I searched for this on bing.com/images
Geronimo's grave at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 2005. Six members of the Yale secret society of Skull and Bones, including Prescott Bush, served as Army volunteers at Fort Sill during World War I. It has been claimed by various parties that they stole Geronimo's skull, some bones, and other items, including Geronimo's prized silver bridle, from the Apache Indian Prisoner of War Cemetery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. This is one of the more plausible items said to be in the organization's Tomb.
#Geronimo had three brothers and four sisters His first wife was Alope from the Nedni-Chiricahua band of Apache when he was 17. They had three children. Artillery Park at Fort Sill, Oklahoma Fort Sill is the place I first went to when I joined the Army I spent the worst 11 weeks of my life here. Basic Training was the hardest thing I had even done in my life at that point but it showed me there is no limit to what I can do. When I think I have nothing left there is always more I can give.

Killeen, Texas ~ Home of Fort Hood. The first of many Army stations for me to call home. I am a "gypsy" of sort...in total I have moved 22 times in my life (Air Force, Army and civilian moves) and probably still counting!
Killeen, Texas ~ Home of Fort Hood | Covering a total of 340 square miles, it is the largest active duty armored post in the United States Armed Services. The base supports multiple units, a corps headquarters and a mobilization mission. It also meets the training and support requirements for many smaller units and organizations, thus maintaining a vital defense force for the USA. #army #forthood #sign #gate

I feel as though I've been to Fort Knox after hearing my husband's stories about his stint there as an Army Chaplain's Assistant. Perhaps I'll visit one day :-)
Fort Knox, Kentucky. My dad was stationed here after being in Georgia, and my brother was born here. Lived here for a few years and then made the move to Arizona :)
Patton Museum at Fort Knox, Kentucky. There's a whole story behind this that only myself and my grand kids can tell you, but it is a must.
I actually spent six weeks at Fort Knox, Kentucky, one summer participating in ROTC Basic Camp while in college.
When I joined the U.S. Army in 2011, my first step to becoming a soldier was to start basic training. I was a member of the last cycle of individuals who went to Fort Knox to become tankers. The reason for this is because the Armor School was going to be transferred to Fort Benning, down in Georgia. I have a lot of good, bad, miserable, and unpleasant memories from this piece of Hell. Make sure to check the weather prior traveling here and to bring all necessary protective weather gear as well.
Fort Knox is a United States Army post in Kentucky south of Louisville and north of Elizabethtown. The 109,000 acre base covers parts of Bullitt, Hardin, and Meade counties. It currently holds the Army human resources Center of Excellence to include the Army Human Resources Command, United States Army Cadet Command and the United States Army Accessions Command. The United States Bullion Depository, often known as Fort Knox, is a fortified vault building located within the post of Fort Knox and i
