Hold on Tight bookshelf by - Even in the digital age, we all still have personal libraries of books we just can't let go of. Use the Hold on Tight bookshelf to keep your most treasured books upright, on display, and close at hand. A brightly-coloured aluminum cube and oversized wing nut serve as a sliding bookend which can be adjusted and secured wherever it is needed, whether your book collection is growing or shrinking. Offered in Beech, Walnut and Oak. (41"L x 11"H x 8"D).

These shelves are awesome, I love when the shelves disappear against the walls and only the color of the stuff ON the shelves is what really catches your eye. Seems to me its less "great shelves" and more "great stuff!"

TO DO: Check out birch trees in backyard for potential branches for this project. If nothing promising, then head for the woods!

There is no tutorial. These are a purchased item at this link. I like this idea for a nightstand by the bed. 8"x8" routered boards with 8" gap between shelves.

Painted tree silhouettes on wall fit with hooks for hats & coats - beautiful and it doesn´t take much space

Easy, affordable way to display books as well as creating an ever changing wall art space. The red background is a painted wall. Add some grooved wood molding painted same colour as wall. Attach some stretchy bungee rope secured to wall with hooks and it's done. This is a great space saving idea, when book shelves are not possible. Even a hallway could accommodate this clever reading area.

Nougat wood---never considered doing wood like this in my living room, but this space almost made me change my mind. love that book case.

Really cute idea but I don't know how you would actually make it. I figure build the structure with wood and use old books that are already missing pages and use contact cement or something to glue the covers around the structure.
