Okay, I usually zero in on piecing, but the quilting on this is REALLY cool. I love this idea of only quilting in the white/negative areas... it adds so much texture by making the colored squares "puffy!" This gives me an idea: Polaroid quilt! Fussy cut some center squares with a white border that is slightly thicker on the bottom.
