Tinkerbelle is a dwarf lilac with a pleasing spicy fragrance and incredible wine-red flower buds that open in late spring. Does well as a tree form, like is shown in this picture. Growing by garage window. Must start training it to grow like a tree.
Would love this tree in the front yard! Southern Crepe Myrtle - this is a great tree. It comes in many different sizes and all sorts of colors. I like to use it in a spot where you need a tree that is not too large. It also flowers for a very long time!
These remind me of my grandma. Snowball Virburnum Bush: Incredible white blooms, fast growing and low maintenance. Blooms early spring through mid summer. Has berries in the fall for the birdies. The flowers remind me of pom poms.
Red Stonecrop (Sedum Spurium 'Schorbuser Blut') Zone: 3 to is a very attractive border plant that does not mind the shade and can be used as ground cover under trees and shrubs. Another advantage of these plants is that they suppress the growth of weeds.
