      New Nostalgia: Ancestral Pumpkin Pie 2 eggs, beaten, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups homemade pumpkin puree, 1/4 t nutmeg, 1 t cinnamon, 1/2 t salt, 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 T molasses. Mix all ingredients together and beat until smooth. Pour into waiting pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then turn oven down to 350 degrees for 45 minutes. It is done when you can insert a knife into the center and it comes out clean. After cooling, store in refrigerator.
