A chicken wire hoop straight on the ground will help with drainage and air flow. Securing the hoop with clasps would be helpful, so you can disassemble the hoop to turn the pile, then reassemble and scoop the compost back in. this is similar to my system, except I have air tubes in the centers of each square for faster breakdown. I stir every couple weeks, I add chicken & rabbit poo to the "new stuff, and just keep stirring until it can be used. I added 5 wheelbarrows full to the gardens this year.
