Mulled Wine- called glühwein in Germany, mulled wine is warm red wine with spices. You can buy it in stores, or make it yourself using dry red wine. One bottle of dry red wine 2/3 cup raw cane or white sugar Juice and peel of one lemon 2 cardamom pods 4 cloves 2 bay leaves 2 cinnamon sticks Place all ingredients in a large pan, stirring until the sugar melts. Simmer on low heat for about an hour. Make sure the mixture doesn’t boil; it should just seethe. Strain the mixture and serve.
