Havasu Falls | Arizona A 10 mile hike downhill.. and then back up! I'm doing this next summer regardless if someone goes with me or not!
An absolutely amazing place ♥
It is my favorite hiking place. The colors are real!!! You climb through a cave to hold onto a ladder to scale 190 ft mooney falls. Beaver is worth the hike because The landscaping keeps changing some is dry some is lush. I stayed at the hotel so didn't need o carry all our stuff. There are also mules to carry stuff. The mail is still carried by mules. It is amazing!! It is an easy hike
Grand Canyon,I want to go see this place one day. Please check out my website thanks. www.photopix.co.nz
Havasu Falls / Step On Me
can you swim in there, Jessica?
yes you can, it's awesome amazing and you come out of the water dry in under 2 min. this fall turns into a river that runs through the campsites and then it becomes a 90ft water fall at the end that you can to climb down to the bottom of by crawling through a series of caves carved by the Native Havausai Tribe. Awesome experience, it's a 12 mile hike in
Wow, thanks Aline. It sounds like quite a place. I appreciate your detailed explanation. It is now on my "places to go bucket list." :)
I plan to hike in to see these falls with two of my grown kids one day soon. My daughter's pictures and description from a previous trip are awesome.
I hiked this with my kids when my daughter was just under a year in a backpack. My older kids were 8 and 10. It was an amazing trip. We got hotel rooms instead of camping and really had a great time. We traded game boys to the mailman for horse rides out which worked out great. The only place in the US still running the pony express mail. Living in AZ I have done many Grand Canyon adventures, this one is top n my list.
A canyon in Arizona, just before the Grand Canyon.
