This will be in my room next year!!!! Perfect for more than Science. Could have paper strips for Math (strands of Math), Reading (fiction/non-fiction/genres), Writing, Social Studies. Great for review, connections, student participation in their environment, etc.!!! Science bulletin boards- put up at the beginning of the year and add to them as you go through your units during the year.

great ideas on different science experiments you can do with kids to help them learn and understand their world better....and have fun!

This would be a good way to organize Social Studies research for projects! Given to partners or small groups and have the class be the teachers! Love letting them be the teacher.

I have my kids make these but I love how this teacher had them glue/tape them into a notebook. I also like how they had an illustration on the front...

GREAT science blog! Even if it's for the elementary level, the notebooking ideas are things I have used with my classes in HS.

Social Studies Notebook...USA symbols. They open up to a picture and 3 facts listed by student.

I like how she has them do their title pages for each unit. :) She also has them glue the main learning objectives (or we could do essential questions) on the left hand side then their colorful title page on the right. So much info on this blog... must follow.
