So Mamma's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys, let them be doctors and lawyers and such. They never come home and they're always alone, even with one that they love.

With nostrils flared in excitement & muscles glimmering in the sun, he has carried his cargo whether it be for fighting or for fun. Never has an animal ventured through history with such force. Never has there been an animal like the noble horse!

So much fun riding horses that can slide and spin! Reining is so awesome!!! I would love to really get into this!

The sun really brought out the gorgeous, rich copper tone in this rearing Arabian horse!

yeah. this is DEFINTITELY NOT a sport. at all. not even close. HA! SURE! I would LOVE to see you try to ride a horse...a mare...in heat....95 degree weather....loping around and around and around again and again and again. and why don't you go bareback? work your leg muscles! and did I mention she pulls a LOT! your arms are gonna hurt! Make her move her shoulders and hips! How about flying lead changes????? Stop sitting on the freaking horse and RIDE IT for Pete's sake!!!!!! *sarcasm, btw*

Yay! I didn't know other people rode bareback for balance!

I hate it when people say horseback riding isn't a sport.

What frustrates me the most is when other (ignorant) riders bad-mouth another rider's discipline. I could care less if you ride English or Western, do dressage or barrel racing! Whatever the discipline, whatever the sport, there is something to be learned in each one. A good rider takes the best from each one and combines it all.

I like mares though, better than some geldings sometimes....
