The Chubby Vegetarian: Vegan Breakfast Sausage. This vegan sausage is the best! Everyone in my family loves it even the meat eaters. In an unusual twist, I actually make this recipe exactly as it is described and I would not change a thing! Oh yes, I did change something. The second time I made this I left out the cloves as they seemed a bit overpowering. They were fantastic without them.
Roasted tofu......don't know what I did wrong...I bought extra firm instead of firm and maybe that was it, but mine looked nothing like this. Buuuuuut....this was THE BEST tofu I've every had. I ignored the time on recipe and I roasted the heck out of these. We LOVED it. Make sure you marinate your tofu ahead of time. Ours was a ginger/garlic soy concoction and it tasted like bourbon chicken from the mall. And that is my standard for delicious.
