The Andalite Chronicles, I know it made me the world's biggest dork in middle school but it got me into reading, and to this day remains one of my favorite books

Awesome sequel to Pillars of the Earth, set in the same town, 2 centuries later.  It was somewhat structurally similar to the first book, but I liked that it seemed to have more description for what it was like for women at that time

World Without End by Ken Follett. A sequel to Pillars of the Earth. Also a great read. And as most Follett novels go, it is quite long but well worth it.
