Slide an old case over a fan's blade then pull the fabric back, keeping all the dust and dirt contained.
How to Clean Your Ceiling Fan... We love this trick for dusting off the blades of a grimy ceiling fan without getting a face full of dust. Simply slide each blade, one at a time, into a pillowcase and wipe off the blade with the inside of the pillowcase. All the dust, dirt, and debris will stay inside. Then simply shake out the case outside and throw it in the laundry bin.
Working with one blade at a time, slide an old pillowcase over the blade, then slowly draw the fabric back. All the dust and dirt will stay in the pillowcase instead of flying everywhere.
To clean dusty ceiling fan blades. Spritz inside of an old pillowcase with water and 2T white vinegar. Slip the pillowcase over each blade and pull back to trap dust without making a mess of the entire room.
