Learning to tell time...have each child make a paper watch. Give each child a sheet with everyone's name on it. They walk around and ask their peers, "What time is it?". Without "telling", they simply show their watch. Times are recorded on the record sheet. When each child has asked everyone, meet back and check. Gets them moving!

Such a fun way to practice telling time! Wear a paper watch and go on a scavenger hunt to find out what time is on your classmates' watches. :)

Tired of hearing, "That isn't fair!" This activity is a great way to help children understand that fair isn't when everyone gets the same thing...it's when everyone gets just what they need. All you'll need for this lesson is a big box of Band-Aids and some time for class discussion. Love the simplicity and impact of this lesson!
