      Going through rivers of difficulty will either cause you to drown or force you to grow stronger. If you go in your own strength, you are more likely to drown. If you invite the Lord to go with you, he will protect you.

    "Ask and it will be given to you, Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matt 7:7. We serve a loving and generous God, make your requests known to God.

    The proverbial "leap of faith" is actually the size of a mustard seed. Keep going. And by the way, look at St. Augustine. Don't become disheartened that you made bad choices in the past; make the best choice you ever made by turning to the Lord-- watch as the Lord, through the Sacraments, reorients your life and puts a lot of broken pieces back together.
