Vietnam Memorial

Powerful. My uncle's name is on this wall, so I agree with Steph. Very powerful

To all veterans out there past and present, thank you for the sacrifices you've made so I can live in a free country. God bless America!

Land of the Free, Because of the Brave

God bless our Military

US Soldiers Thru History

Sgt. Heather Lynn Johnson is the first woman to guard the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.

Did someone order some freedom?

freedom isn't free

They are not thanked enough....thank you

To those who sacrifice their whole world...Thank You.

The cost of freedom is a price that can never be repaid. So instead, we must be mindful to Never Forget

I think it's really cool, visually, how he's wearing his old uniform. "Joseph Ambrose, an 86-year old World War I Veteran, attends the dedication day parade for the VietNam Veteran's Memorial in 1982, holding the flag that covered the casket of his son, who had been killed in the Korean War."

Arlington Cemetery as Hurricane Sandy approaches...standing guard today...and every day During previous hurricanes the Soldiers were told to abandon their posts by the president of the US. They respectfully refused the order and said they would be here no matter what. (from Reddit). This may seem odd to some folks but i have volunteered in military hospitals, and tho i am opposed to war,i came to have enormous respect for the miltary and their families
