    homemade soft scrub. Mix together 3/4 c baking soda, 1/4 c castile soap, 1 tbsp water, and 10-15 drop Melaleuca EO. Slowly add 1 tbsp vinegar. Stir til it's a paste-like consistency, adding more baking soda if needed. Pour into container of choice.

A few drops of essential oil --the acid and base in the vinegar and the castille soap react, causing the castille soap to unsaponify, which basically means that the soap is broken down to its original oils.
