breakfast quinoa: Tried this for breakfast on 8/17/12. It was a nice change from oatmeal. I did not have the dried cranberries, but I thought it was great without them. My daughter liked it so much she said, "let's have this every day!"

Spiced Applesauce in the Slow Cooker 8 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced ½ cup water ½ cup packed brown sugar 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (or more, to taste) Combine apples and water in your slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-6 hours. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon and continue cooking for another 30 minutes. Taste and add more cinnamon to your liking.
