Pinner writes...and I found it funny**Creme Brulee...of all the creme brulees I have eaten in restaurants or made at home, this is my hands down favorite and go to recipe when I want an impressive dessert or when I want to curl up for the day with a good book and just eat creme brulee all day...I have done it and have no shame or remorse about it.

Lavender creme brulee. I got lavender in my CSA a few weeks ago and I've started getting fresh milk and farm eggs. I will have to make this.

Creme Brulee Martini -- 1 cup heavy cream / 1 vanilla bean / 1 T casters sugar / 1 part vanilla vodka / 1 part Frangelico // Heat the cream, vanilla bean and sugar over medium high heat until it just begins to boil, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and add the vodka and Frangelico. Allow to cool slightly. Shake with ice and strain into your glass.
