Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Known as the Blue City, here in a view from the Mehrangarh Fort. Hundreds of years ago the Brahmins painted their homes blue in this city in order to set themselves apart. After time, everyone began to use the same blue. Was here summer 2005.
Tejo Mahalay - The ancient Hindu Temple Palace which was taken from the Hindu Maharaja (King) of Jaipur, during the Mughal Invasion of India. The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur family still retains the collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering the Hindu Temple Palace. Using captured Hindu temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim invaders in India
