    A Sweeping Family Saga - "The Thorn Birds" by Colleen McCullough- This is one of my all-time favorites. Also loved the TV mini series with Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward.

    Read this book many times and has always restored my faith when losing sight of the bigger picture.
