Peabody Hotel, Memphis and the famous Peabody ducks. In the morning, this red carpet is rolled out, and a person dressed like a beefeater calls for the ducks, the elevator door opens, and out they come to the fountain where they hang out all day, and then it's reversed at night. Funny thing to watch, incredible hotel.

I've stayed at the Peabody in Orlando. It's cool!

When I was here, the Grateful Dead stayed here for a concert. The older generation will wait for hours to line up at the rope for what it a 1 minute walk and then it's over until the afternoon. I didn't know what was funnier-watching the older people watch the ducks, or watch the Dead entourage!

Stayed here at the famous Peabody Hotel in Memphis where, yes, they actually have ducks that come inside the hotel to take a swim in the lobby fountain. This place is a landmark and must be seen to be appreciated.

The Ducks In The Peabody Hotel, Memphis, TN - it was so much fun seeing the ducks when our daughter was little. Someday we want to take our grandkids there as well. We love visiting Memphis...
