I pin too much about my future home

These large shelves make use of potentially unused space below a staircase and draw attention toward its unusual design. With their irregular angles, stair landings and attics are also good candidates for floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves.

Future

It's the flooring I like. grey tile/slate to dark wood flooring. Double arched stairs descending down the round foyer creating a two-story entrance way. Floor is grey tile. Foyer leads up a landing into the Dining Room.

Hidden reading room - love the idea of old school hidden rooms and corridors and fake wall/doors. Oh yes the perfect book shelves and then a place to read without being found. My idea of heaven.

Outdoor pool with a campfire pit

Fire pit inside the pool? Pretty sure I will need this in my future home.

Obviously the house doesn't look like this but the concept of the balcony overlooking the living room from upstairs hallway is what I want

The caption to this was "open basement." What an amazing idea -- instead of hiding your basement make it a reverse foyer.- reverse foyer would be a great idea to use if putting kid's rooms in the basement- more OPEN!

Great entry I love this entry way! The stairway is set back just right, not falling into them as soon as you enter the house! Very nice house!

book nook, not sure where this came from

This space looks fantastic for kids to read in, with its fresh white paint and its comfort seating. This is an inviting space for kids to choose a book and enjoy reading.

Beautiful Entry- stairs going the opposite direction of most, with a small walkway over the door. still keeps the two-story foyer (with window) feel!
