Make bed, get dressed, put away clean silverware (sorting), put dirty clothes into hamper, water plants, fold washcloths, help put away laundry into drawers, pick up toys (using 'clean up' song), help feed pets, dust flat surfaces, help wipe table/counters, etc.
While I set out the plates and glassware I give Rosie the forks and napkins. She loves helping me set the table. Just be sure to only give toddlers safe, unbreakable objects. ~ Let them help you make the bed- do this chore together and squeeze in a little bonding while you work.
7 chores your kids should be doing. People are always making other parents feel like they aren't doing enough for their kids. Maybe it is best for them to clean their own room (no matter how clean it actually gets) or make their own lunch or learn to entertain themselves instead of mom or dad having to do it. Teach them to be self sufficient and support them! Be there for them when they need you, not when you want to intervene.
