Going to try this! Use alcohol in a spray bottle to kill bugs in your home instead of the toxic stuff in the can. Alcohol dries clean with no oily residue and is more effective than the bug sprays you'd buy in the store. Homemade Clear Embossing Ink....You need 1 tsp of petroleum jelly, I used the classic, Vaseline. Mix in 1/8 capful of vegetable oil.Then mix in 1/8 capful of alcohol to dilute. Mix together. It doesn't make a lot but it does make more than enough to rehydrate your ink pad.
Ingredients 4 drops citronella essential oil 4 drops lemongrass essential oil 4 drops rosemary essential oil 4 drops eucalyptus essential oil 4 drops mint essential oil 1/4 cup pure witch hazel Directions 1. Add all ingredients into a small glass or plastic atomizer. Shake. 2. Shake well and apply liberally.

One reviewer said this: "I find glycerin works really well and you don't get the oily bleed that can happen with oil and petroleum jelly. You can add watercolour paint or food colouring if you want to tint it. Works like a charm."
