Love this--students could write the number on the top of their paper before they turn it in. That way they don't risk embarrassment or refuse to ask questions during class discussion.

    I like this idea! ! Although I'd hate to think any classroom is an environment where a student is embarrassed to ask a question because the rest of the class is not being held accountable for making others feel embarrassed.
