Chicken Piccata with Pasta & Mushrooms Recipe | Eating Well.......Our chicken piccata, served over whole-wheat pasta, has a rich lemon-caper sauce that's made with extra-virgin olive oil and just a touch of butter for flavor. If you like, you can use a mild fish like tilapia or even shrimp instead of chicken breast.

Chicken Piccata Recipe from The Clever Carrot ~ tender chicken simmered in white wine, lemons and capers.

Chicken Piccata, Review by JF: This was tasty! Will definitely make again! It was also easy. We left off the capers, but it would be good with the capers. I did not use the sauce on pasta, instead I poured it on asparagus. But I do think some bowtie pasta with the sauce would be good. I loved the sauce. It's a must because with out it, this is just plain pan fried chicken.
