Possibly my Favorite of 5 Homemade Cleaners PLUS I like the idea of saving $$ by buying 6 spray-bottles of "Method" Brand cleaners from Target (cute & very durable bottles!) and simply emptying out all but 1 for storing my 5 homemade cleaners in...more details just click on pic!!!
Mop hardwood floors with 1 gal. hot water. 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 Tablespoons baking soda, and a few drops of dish soap. Shiny floors, house smells grand. I also mopped my dingy linoleum tile floors in my kitchen this was better than any floor cleaner I have ever bought off the shelf!
Clean the microwave and leave it smelling sweet with this household trick! Mix 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a microwave-safe container, and zap it on high for five minutes. When it's done, remove the container and wipe down the interior of the oven. Any gunk should slide right off.
Homemade Laundry Soap Even HE safe and Fabric Softner-- For 64 loads of laundry soap it costs 0.92 to make that's 0.014 a load. For 202 loads of fabric softener it cost 1.26 to make that is $.006 per load! A grand total of 2 cents per load of laundry! Oh and under a hour to make both, I can handle that! :)
