      I save all my glass jars! Pasta sauce jars, coconut oil jars, maraschino cherries jars, jelly jars, ranch dip jars, pickle jars, etc... I save money and I'm recycling!!! Win win!!!

    DIY chalkboard canisters. Upcycle those old pickle jars! (Tip from the blog--use acrylic paint for the base coat of the labels and for the lids.) Maybe someday I'll take the labels off my jars and do something like this.

    You know all those pretty candle jars that you don't want to throw out? This is how to clean them so that you can reuse them for anything you want :).

    Save your empty sauce jars, clean them out and wash off the labels (If you find the jars have an odor, pour a little bit of vinegar in the jar, close the lid and let sit for several hours. Wash again and the odor will be completely gone.) Sand down the lids to remove the words and pictures with fine grit sandpaper Drill a small hole in the lid Screw in a knob Fill up your jar!

    First, I found a couple canning jars at the thrift store in two different sizes that would work as hand soap dispensers for the bathroom and kitchen. I've seen a few blogs where they painted their mason jars so I thought I would give it a try. I chose a basic glossy white spray paint and sprayed it to the outside of the jars. I then took a nail and hammered it into the center of the jars' lids to start a hole. I used needle nose pliers to pull the tin back enough to fit the soap dispens...
