In a narrow residual area between the breezeway and the house's northern elevation, Cohen created a so-called "skinny space," with a changing area accessible to the outdoor shower. Photo by: Raimund Koch Read more: www.dwell.com/...
The barn that will hold 4 horses, cats, dogs and possibly some tea-cup pigs. On the other side will hold our boat, 4 wheelers, ski-dos, sea-dos, and everything else that is for the outdoors. We'll host barn parties up in the top half of the barn and also have a spare bedroom.. The bathroom and shower will be in the downstairs to wash-up before you head back into the house.
Contemporary touches like the living room window wall and open industrial-style staircase take this barn conversion design out of the "Little House" era and into the modern day.
What do you think about using concrete in your home? Concrete can be quite cold but combined with other materials (such as wood) it can have a beautiful look. Lately I am been seeing more and more home accessories made of concrete which are great to add a little bit of an industrial look to your interior.
