No success can compensate for failure at home...President David O. Mc Kay, the kids should always be the first thought. life is better spent in reflection of what you were glad you chose as opposed to regret....

I have had to make this decision & it wasn't easy, but it has taught me to really recognize what is important to our family & to budget money so that we can still live a comfortable, happy life on a smaller income. I decided to live life so that I didn't have that resentment.

So true, work will not remember you didnt take that extra shift. Your kids will always remember you chose them over work, housework, friends...

:) This is the answer to all my questions! We may not be living a life of luxury, or driving brand new cars, but my children have me and I have them and when I look back I won't remember the nice things we had or the cars in the driveway, I'll remember all the moments that mattered in my children's lives. It just makes sense!

If only people would remember this , kids would have a better life :)

    To remember about babies

So thankful I have the chance to do this . . . so blessed.

Gotta remember this every moment of every day.

My son, Dan, died 5 years ago at the age of 28 of a bilateral pulmonary embolism that had been diagnosed as bronchitis. Every time I look in the mirror at a new bulge or wrinkle, I am briefly horrified. Then I think of Dan, and wish he had had the privilege to grow old enough for wrinkles. I would give anything to see a wrinkle on his beautiful face.
