Michael Cardew slipware bowls - Cardew was considered one of the best slipware potters ever.

"Visitors to our Facebook page will have seen that when we went to the Borzoi Bookshop last week they gave us Edmund de Waal's The Pot Book. It is fascinating, and has incredible photographs. Here is a pot made by Michael Cardew, who resurrected the Winchcombe Pottery in the 1920s. De Waal writes that he 'was drawn to forms that had "generosity": large flagons and pitchers, expansive chargers and lidded jars.' From the Persephone Post

Michael Sherill..not very fond of ceramics that lose their sense of "clay" but this is pretty wild.
