The tree which moves some to have tears of joy is in the eyes of others, only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity . . . and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.
Some advice from Gill Farrer-Halls which feels appropriate to me now. 'Be aware of your personal limits (in respect of acts of kindness), as you are not a bottomnless well of kindness. Be realistic about your own ability. Learn when it is a good time to respond with kindness and when it would actually be too much for you to cope with.'
