In my experience it just isn’t a flat line of success.  You can set a goal to lose 1/2 lb a week but the odds of that happening with consistency, no matter how consistent you are, are unrealistic. You lose, you plateau, you gain, then you lose more.. it’s not a straight line of success from beginning to end and always remember that the scale is only one small indicator of success.   Body fat percentage, how your clothes fit, how you feel - those are the important indicators.

pound per week is a GREAT goal! Slow and steady wins the race. Remember this is not about a crash diet; it's a fresh start at a healthy lifestyle. It doesn't matter how quickly you lose. Every day brings you closer to your goals.
