The Adjustment Bureau (2011)

SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Director: Steven Spielberg. Year: 1998. Cast: Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Tom Sizemore

INVICTUS by Clint Eastwood (2009) w/ Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman. Beautiful film about South Africa. It’s not just a film about rugby, it’s a film about forgiveness, acceptance, tolerance. This movie shows us how Nelson Mandela reunited his country via the rugby world cup in 1994. That’s my favorite film of Clint Eastwood so far. You should see it even if you’re not a rugby fan.

If there were ever a movie to truly show what our grandparents went through fighting in war, it's this one. War is horrible. I think it's important for movies like this to be made so that we remember that as well as real people go and die in them. This one will persuade many tears from your eyes.

Good Will Hunting. Note: There are MANY MANY F bombs in this movie. However, film doesn't get much more real than this. Extremely powerful and moving. It's no wonder Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's careers shot off after making this movie. It's brilliant. You will laugh and you will cry, and if you don't you're intentionally holding it back.
