I chose this because I liked how the two outfits complemented each other. The outfits looked like they are made of fabric. The have a very straight and flat form which makes it look very uniform. Due to the use of a skirt being worn on the left model and trousers on the right, I automatically thought that at would be a man and woman.

Swiss born Gertrud Preiswerk from the Bauhaus Archive. Preiswerk studied at the Bauhaus Weaving Workshop from 1926 to 1930. In 1931, Preiswerk, along with Gunta Stolzl and Heinrich-Otto Hurlimann, founded S-P-H Stoffe, an independent weaving studio based in Zurich.
