"The Bible tells us that God’s Kingdom is coming to this earth, and that His will, will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. That means no more disease, fear, pain, suffering and death. Those who love God will be given ageless bodies, and the Scriptures tell us that we will have pleasure forevermore. If this sounds too good to be true, it would be if it was promised by some politician. But it’s not. This is promised by our faithful Creator, who cannot lie. We do have a problem though. The Bible tells us that all this will be so incredible we cannot begin to imagine what He has in store for those that love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). But I have some thoughts that may help a little. Imagine that you were there “In the beginning,” moments before God thundered “Let there be light.” He turns to you and asks if you can imagine what He is going to do over the next six days. You draw a blank. You have no idea what is about to take place. You don’t think of breath-taking sunrises and beautiful sunsets, full moons, glittering stars, crystal clear blue water teeming with colorful fish, a myriad of radiant flowers, amazing hummingbirds, the brilliance of the sun, the white sands and tall palm trees on beautiful beaches, massive snow-capped mountains, cascading waterfalls, or eagles flying across the sky-blue heavens. You don’t think of a favorite dessert, or a succulent drink, or incredible music, or the most mouthwatering chocolate that ever touched human lips. Neither can you begin to imagine that He is going to make massive animals with five-foot noses and three-foot ears, or tall yellow and black patchwork beasts with six-foot-long necks, or bouncy creatures that have a front pocket. You don’t visualize the faces of the cutest kittens, or adorable wobbly puppies, or huge whales leaping out of the ocean. You can’t conceive of even one of these things, because you too are just part of God’s amazing creation. Now back in reality, we can see around us what God has created. However, all of this marvelously breath-taking beauty is part of what the Bible calls a “fallen” creation. It is under the Genesis curse of disease, decay and death. Nothing is as good as it should be. So take all these amazing things we have talked about and drop them all in a big old trash bin, because they are but rotten garbage compared to what God has in store for those that love Him."

For the man sound of body and serene of mind there is no such thing as bad weather; every day has its beauty, and storms which whip the blood do but make it pulse more vigorously. ~ George Gissing

See, honey, I am not some broken thing. I do not lay here in the dark waiting for thee. No my heart is gold. My feet are light. And I am racing out on the desert plains all night // Phosphorescent
