Today was a great day for hanging clothes outside.  I'd love a 4-line clothesline like this one.

Hung the clothes outside to dry in the sun and wind with clothes pins.on the clothes line . Clothes smelled fantastic, most of the time! Sometimes I didnt care for the smell.

Did you ever shop here?  My grandmother and I rode the bus to Woolworth's to buy her sewing notions when I was a little girl.  Had lunch at the soda fountain every time we went.

Woolworth's--Oh, I remember this store with fond memories. After shopping with my Mom, we would have something at the lunch counter and I would twirl on the stool.

Potato mashers still have one.

Mashed potatoes were made with this type of masher. Mom and Grandma used these. I have a few old utensils in my collection.

ironing sprinkler.  Mom would sprinkle the clothes to be ironed.

we sprinkled the clothes to be ironed, then rolled them up and put them in a pillowcase until they were ironed, but mom used a coca-cola bottle. I learned to iron doing pillowcases!
