Blood and Bone (2009) After five years in jail, Isaiah Bone at last has the freedom to do what he wants, and the first thing on his list is avenging a fallen friend. Of course, meting out justice -- Bone style -- will require immersion in the underground fighting scene.

Blood Diamond. A disturbing yet captivating story of an african fisherman and a gunrunning/diamond smugglers lives crossing paths when a very large blood diamond is found and hidden. They are on the run to find and free the fishermans family all the while the rebels are close on their paths. See this creative and heart stopping story unfold into a miraculous ending.

One of my favorites this year.
