Lilly used a hot glue gun to adhere Lady and Gala apples on a cone-shaped Styrofoam form that can be purchased at a craft store. Depending on your color scheme, Lilly says you could also use Granny Smith or Red Delicious apples."The trick is not to use really big apples," Lilly says. I love this idea and it is so simple to put together. Take a decorative plant pot, urn or whatever you want to use. Add Styrofoam in the pot, and in the boxes, wrap those boxes and add ribbon. Take a wooden dowel and have it go through the bottom boxes and into the bottom of the top box only. There you have a cute, simple and festive holiday look for your front porch.
