THM PayDay Candies *1/4 C Erythritol* 2 T butter* 1/8 tsp stevia extract* 2 T cream 1/8 tsp caramel* extract* Melt first two ingredients in a saucepan.* Add remaining ingredients,* cook until desired caramel color, stirring often.* Take off heat and add:* 2 tsp all natural peanut butter* Dash of salt* 1/2 to 3/4 C peanuts* Stir well. Trim & Healthy Tuesday (THM): Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge (S) 1/2 cup Peanut Butter (I used homemade, but just use whatever kind falls within THM guidelines) 1/3 cup Peanut Flour 1 tsp NuNaturals Stevia, add/reduce to taste 1/8 tsp salt, and pinch more if needed 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 scoop Protein Powder 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder 1/4 cup softened butter
A healthy peanut butter, banana and oatmeal smoothie recipe
Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal to go! Break 1 ripe banana into a blender with 1 cup plain yogurt, 2 Tbsp. peanut butter, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats and a squirt of honey to taste. (Quick or instant oats will more easily puree into the mix.)
THM (S) Buckeyes ~ 1/3 C natural PB, 2/3 C defatted peanut flour, 4 TB butter 4 TB Erythritol/Xylitol with shake of Stevia, 1/8 tsp sea salt, Stir together all ingredients. Roll into balls and put on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Place in fridge to set, and make a batch of skinny chocolate (pg 371 of THM). Dip balls into chocolate. (I do a double dip). Store in fridge, makes 18 balls.
Reese’s Center Candies – S 1/4 c coconut oil 1/4 c butter 1/2 c all natural peanut butter 1 t. vanilla 1/8 t. salt ½ t. Now Better Stevia ½ c Xylitol 14 to 20 packets of Truvia (depending on how sweet you want it) 1. Grind sweetener in coffee grinder. 2. Place mini individual muffin liners on a baking sheet. 3. In a saucepan, melt coconut oil, butter and peanut butter. 4. Stir in vanilla, salt and sweetener. 5. Pour liquid into little muffin liners and place in freezer. 6. Store in fridge.
THM FP Like Wendy's frosty: 1 scoop vanilla protein 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 2 Tbsp cocoa powder 1.5 cups of crushed ice stevia to taste Dash of banana extract Can use caramel extract instead, or add peanut butter for an S Can also have a piece of fruit for an E or cheese/nuts for an S.
Homemake Truvia Cheaper-1/8 teaspoon good tasting stevia extract (I use NuNaturals pure white stevia extract)1/4 cup erythritol Add ingredients to plastic baggie. Shake baggie well to mix sweeteners. To replace 1 cup of Truvia, mix 1/2 teaspoon of pure stevia extract with 1 cup erythritol. Enjoy!
