Slim Goodbody... I remember watching him in school. Totally thought he was Richard Simmons until this very moment. Ha!

    Scary childhood memories, anyone?

Remember this guy from the 70s or early 80s? Slim Goodbody! Really played a number on me. This guy had no skin. Internal organs and bones where on the outside. Plus that afro! Also, a little uncomfortable with a grown man jumping around children in a body stocking! HA!

Mr. Goodbody. He was creepy and vaguely Richard Simmons-esque....thought I had blocked him from my memory!!

On our kitchen wall when I was growing up in the 60's.

kaleidoscope--the first one I had gotten as a gift was from the folks and I was in awe of what I could do with it. Spent hours playing with it.

Slim Goodbody...he used to come to my elementary school for assemblies. I remember being totally creeped out by his 'bulge.'

LOVED this shampoo...so did my hair stylist. She (and other girls in the shop) couldn't believe this was the shampoo (with matching conditioner) I used. It kept my fine, flyaway hair from being frizzy without weighing it down...and it made your hair really SHINE! Salon gals couldn't believe it because this shampoo was considered "cheap."

when he first saw this toy, my teenage son, who had never seen an old-school cash register before, said, "What is that, Baby's First Slots?"

Slim Goodbody! did he have his own show or was he with Captain Kangaroo?

Mercurochrome... If you read the words above and cringed then you know exactly what I'm talking about! It came in a little bottle with a cap that served as a dropper or just had a stick on it. It was this reddish orange color that stained everything it touched including your skin for days. And it was what my mom used on every cut or scrape throughout my childhood. Just the mention of it brought tears to my eyes.

Tickle Deodorant - I used to love seeing this on the shelves at the store. I always thought I'd buy it when I was old enough.

Slim Good Body... I swear if you dont know what this is you missed out as a kid. It was like Mr Wizard meets mr science. So awesome.
