Tracy, thank you for choosing adoption for your child. We are in the process of adoption and are so thankful for the birth moms who have selflessly chosen adoption for their babies. I can't believe how insensitive Connie's comment is. We just took a class through our agency and I have a whole new level of respect for birthmoms!

Candice Dreyer, I truly appreciate that. I love my adoptive parents. If u are considering an open adoption and would like to speak to a birthmom just to get a different perspective, I would be willing to share my story with you.

We absolutely want an open adoption! I would love to talk to you, but not on Pinterest often, so not sure how to message you :)

We adopted our son through our state Child Protective Services. All said and done, it only cost us around $200 - the home inspection, lawyer and court fees, etc. were all paid by the state. There are always MANY local kids waiting for adoption. Try local!!!

We adopted three children, our first son was 22 hours old, our second son was 2 1/2 months old, and with our daughter the birth mom was gracious enough to allow us there for her birth! We accepted from an agency in North Dakota. It carries all the ups and downs of childbirth, including an adoption that did not happen. Many children in the states need good, loving families.
