Palm Beach 1960 - Gloria Guinness (born Gloria Rubio Alatorre; 1912 – 1980). Gloria Guinness died of a heart attack at her home, Villa Zanroc in Epalinges, Switzerland at the age of 68. While the circumstances surrounding her death in 1980 remain clouded to some, there is no doubt Gloria Guinness was among the 20th century's best-dressed women of the world. She was a socialite & fashion icon of the Twentieth Century, as well as a contributing editor to Harper's Bazaar from 1963 until 1971.
