Perfect Iced Coffee Recipe from the pioneer woman. Made this using a smaller recipe (just brewed one cup and let it chill in the fridge for a bit then poured over ice and added half & half). Her tip for using sweetened condensed milk to sweeten is amazing. Just be sure to put the remaining milk in the fridge so you can use it again!
Pioneer Woman's Iced Coffee: 1 pound Ground Coffee (good, Rich Roast) 8 quarts Cold Water...brewed overnight & strained in cheesecloth= coffee concentrate Half-and-half (healthy Splash Per Serving) Sweetened Condensed Milk (2-3 Tablespoons Per Serving) Note: Can Use Skim Milk, 2% Milk, Whole Milk, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners, Syrups...adapt To Your Liking!
Cold Brew Coffee - Cold-Brewed Ice Coffee 2/3 cup ground coffee (medium-coarse grind is best) 1. In a jar, stir together coffee and 3 cups water. Cover and let rest in refrigerator overnight or 12 hours. 2. Strain twice through a coffee filter, a fine-mesh sieve or a sieve lined with cheesecloth.
