LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! "Musical Letters"-when music stops write letter that is on chair (try with sight words, too)

DIY letter pointers! They can read the room and try to find the same letter on their pointer!

NOISE…removing one letter at a time when our voice level gets too loud. When NO is left, there is NO more talking! Love this! A lot more clearer than just putting up strikes on the board or letting the noise escalate to a point where you just cut off talking. It also gives the kids a chance to regain control of their noise before it gets to that point.

I'm always stumped as to what to make when I'm the snack mom. A's daycare has a letter-of-the-week show and tell and I love the idea of coordinating the snack to go along with it! Ideas for X?

A cool idea: Throughout the day I drew out a name and that student got to pick a balloon for us to pop. Inside each balloon was a different 100 activity for us to complete. Some examples of things we did are... 100 jumping jacks, draw 100 shapes, count by 2's to 100, do 100 sit-ups, touch our nose 100 times, clap our hands 100 times, blink our eyes 100 times, etc.
